Events include historical re-enactments involving several thousand people in all, aerial displays, demonstrations, specialist talks, story-telling, theatre and hands-on events for children.

The 2011 event was held on the 16th and 17th of July at Kelmarsh Hall. Displays included Anglo-saxon re-enactment as well as a display of soldiers through the ages, mediaeval jousting and a World War I trench. Events also included a battle from World War ii with pyrotechnics and a dogfight between a Spitfire and Messerschmitt.
